Las Laguna Art Gallery is featuring this NOW 24 month long, online exhibition, to explore the role of Art in today's political landscape. This exhibition is looking for any work that the artist considers to be 'political' or politically themed, in nature. Daily, almost hourly, when I see what's happening in the USA, I'm in shock and speechless. We can't stop this now.
This is an online exhibition that will run from July 1st, 2024 through the end of WHO KNOWS . The online show will be updated on the 1st and 15th of each month with any new submissions. FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM HAS BLOCKED US FROM SHOWING ON THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA FOR ANYTHING THAT SAYS OR SHOWS POLITICAL . Each artist who submits will have at least one image selected for inclusion in the show.
Media can include Acrylic, Airbrush, Alcohol Ink, Assemblage, Charcoal, Color Pencil, Collage, Digital Art, Drawings, Encaustic, Fiber Art, Graphite, Glass Art, Illustration, Jewelry, Mixed Media, New Media, Oil, Painting, Pastel, Photography (Traditional and Digital), Printmaking, Quilts, Scratchboard, Sculpture, Video and Watercolor.
