Theme: 2026 All things Ocean Deadline: March 22, 2026 Artist Reception: Thursday April 2 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm SHOW RUNS: April 2 to April 30, 2026 $35 for up to 3 images Commission: 65% for the Artist, 35% Gallery For this art exhibition Las Laguna Art Gallery asked artists to interpret and depict outdoor scenery, and geographical environments’ including Landscapes or Seascapes.
Landscapes traditionally include natural scenery such a mountains, valleys, trees, rivers, and forests, especially where the main subject is a wide view - with its elements arranged into a coherent composition.
Seascapes can include geographical features such as shorelines, beaches, oceans, as well as include structures such as lighthouses or lifeguard shacks.
For abstract works landscapes can include colors, shapes or mark making that expresses the concept or idea of landscapes. Acceptable mediums include: Acrylic, Airbrush, Charcoal, Collage, Color Pencil, Computer Art, Digital Art, Digital Photography, Drawings, Encaustic, Fiber Arts, Garments, Glass Art, Graphite, Illustration, Mixed Media, New Media, Oil, Pastel, Pen and Ink, Photo Assemblage, Printmaking, Sculpture, Traditional Photography, Video, and Watercolor. Note: A select number of artists will be accepted to send their work to the gallery for the in-person exhibition at our brick and mortar gallery in Laguna Beach, California. All artists who submit to this show will be accepted and have at least one of their submitted works posted and promoted on our website.
**Submission Guidelines:**
- **No Online Fee**: There are no fees for your artwork for the online exhibition.
- **Wall Fee for In-Person Exhibition**: If chosen for the gallery exhibition, a wall fee will apply based on artwork size:
- Maximum size 12” - $25
- Maximum size 20” - $35
- Maximum size 30” - $40
- Maximum size 40” - $60
- For pieces larger than 40”, fees can be discussed individually.
***If selected for an in-gallery exhibition but prefer online-only participation, you can opt out to avoid wall rent and shipping fees, this switch entails no additional costs.
