**Overview:**
We invite artists of all ages and backgrounds to participate in Sketchbook West, an open-themed online exhibition showcasing creativity and talent through sketchbooks. This is a unique opportunity to explore your creative potential and share your artistic journey with a wider audience.
**Submission Requirements:**
- Sketchbooks must be purchased from the gallery for $25 + $10 shipping each, and will be mailed to you
- Use any medium or text to draw, sketch, decorate, and design your sketchbook.
- Submit photographs or scans of your top 5 completed pages via email to LasLagunaArtGallery@gmail.com when your finished
- The front and back of a page may be photographed as a single image if desired.
- A jury will review submissions and select the top 3 to 5 of your entries based on creativity and talent.
- 3 to 5 photos or scans of pages will be Selected as they come in through out the year and will be exhibited in the online gallery through the end of May 2028.
**Eligibility:**
Open to all artists who complete a sketchbook and submit photos or scans of their work by Last Submission Deadline:** March 15, 2028. There is no limit on the number of sketchbooks an artist can submit.
**Materials:**
Artists are free to use any materials, including canvas, wood, and any others. Go Crazy!!!!
**Specifications:**
- All work must be original and unsold, with the artist owning the sole copyright.
- No substitutions of other sketchbooks other than the ones We offer you are allowed.
**Sales:**
There is potential for commissions based on your sketches, with the gallery taking a 35% commission on sales,we send you off of your sketchbooks .
**Liability:**
Sketchbooks will be handled with care, but Las Laguna Gallery and its representatives are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage while in transit to you.. The gallery reserves the right to reproduce accepted artwork for publicity and documentation, with copyrights retained by the artist.
**Shipping:**
You will be shipped your Sketchbook from us and then you will email us 5 photos or scans of your finished book You will not be shipping the book back to us.
